Welcome to Salem United Methodist Church!

God calls Salem United Methodist Church to be the spirit of Jesus alive in the world today.

Salem UMC has been around a long time - over 175 years!  And in all that time we have continued to answer God's call.  Today, we find ourselves in the rapidly growing area of East Lincoln County and are challenged to meet the changing needs in its people.

To that end, we offer a variety of worship experiences each Sunday as we gather to praise and celebrate our awesome God.  We reach out to our community through our involvement in local missions with an emphasis on East Lincoln Christian Ministries.  We challenge each other to be involved on the local church level as well as in the community.  We recognize the importance of each one person- of YOU!

We want you to reach the potential to which God is calling you by helping strengthen your spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental health.  We will do this through worship, Bible studies, Sunday school, physical fitness classes, mission projects, recreational teams, music & drama ministries, etc.  We want you to become the person God has created you to be.
