Summer with the Son
Salem UMC Day Camp

WHO is it for?            
Day Camp is for current Kindergarten-5th grades
 
WHAT is it?
Summer with the Son is a time for us to learn about God, practice being like Jesus, meet new friends, and have fun!  There will be Bible study, chapel time, music, field trips, crafts, mission moments, games, & much more.  Each week will have its own theme to allow for variety and creativity.

Weekdays- June 14th through August 20th

Salem United Methodist Church- Christian Life Center
  
WHY a Day Camp?
To provide a fun opportunity for children to learn about faith while providing a safe place for parents to bring children during summer break.
 
HOW do I register?
Return the completed registration form and $40 non-refundable deposit to

COST
$105 per week per camper, $95 for second and additional children.
This includes all activities, field trips, and a daily snack.  Each camper is to bring a healthy lunch each day. 
 
In an effort to support families and allow children to receive a variety of camp and family experiences, pay ONLY for weeks you register for.
First priority will be given to full-time campers until April 25th.  Drop-in/part-time campers will then be registered as space allows.
 
Typical Daily SCHEDULE

7:00 am - 9:30 am           Free Time

9:30 am - 10:00 am         Devotions

10:00 am -11:00 am        Morning Activities

11:00 am - 11:30 am       Free Time

11:30 am - 12:00 pm       Lunch

12:00 pm12:30 pm      Free Time

1:30 pm2:00 pm         Reading

2:00 pm - 3:00 pm         Quiet Time

3:00 pm - 3:30 pm         Snack Time

3:30 pm - 4:00 pm         Free Time

4:00 pm–5:00 pm          Afternoon Activities

5:00 pm6:00 pm        Free Time

 
Field Trips and Special Guests will also be part of the fun and learning!
