United Methodist Men

The United Methodist Men of Salem meet the first Saturday of each month and participate in many activities to support the church and the community.

Meetings: First Saturday of every month, 7:30 AM

Typical agenda: 7:30 AM- Meet for breakfast at a local restaurant (Westlake, for now)

8:30 AM- Back to the church for a meeting in the Christian Life Center meeting room

9:30 AM- East Lincoln Christian Ministries for volunteer work.

Activities:

Assist East Lincoln Christian Ministries in moving furniture or picking up donations from area donors on the first Saturday of each month.
Prepare Wednesday night dinners (approx ~ 6 times/year)
Various mission and fellowship projects

Fund raisers:

Autobell car wash tickets $13.00 (available in church office)

West Lake Norman Sub-district United Methodist Men: This group includes Methodist Men from various area Methodist churches. We meet each month where there is a 5th Thursday at one of the area churches. We enjoy fellowship and work together on various mission projects. We recently participated in the painting of Brevard's Chapel UMC on Campground Rd. The "regulars" enjoy the fellowship of other Methodist Men in this group 3-4 times a year.
