Wednesday Night Community Dinners
Join us for dinner on Wednesday evenings. Dinners begin at 5:00pm and are open to the community for a small donation.
April 3rd: No Dinner
April 10th: Baked spaghetti, tossed salad, bread, and desserts
April 17th: Sloppy Joes, baked beans, cole slaw, potato chips, rolls, and desserts
April 24th: Hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, chips, and desserts
Faith, Fellowship and Fitness
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 pm in the Christian Life Center
10 weeks of sessions (20 classes) for $35.
The class is open to both men and women of all fitness levels. Steps are used but exercises can be done without a step. Bring a mat for floor work and some weights – a light set of 2-3 lbs. or a heavier set of 5-8 lbs. Exercise includes toning and cardio workouts. Please come a few minutes early to your first class to complete the paperwork.
Morning Fitness Club
Thursday mornings- 9:30am in the Christian Life Center
Join us for a free fitness workout club! This class is for people of all fitness levels who are interested in being challenged. This will feature workouts like P90X, Insanity, Turbo Fire, Slim in 6, and 10 minute trainer. Workouts will last from 40 minutes to one hour. Free child care will be provided. You will need to bring a towel, water, and determination! If you are interested, please contact Mandy Franco

Tabitha's Hands Circle
If you’d like to learn how to knit or crochet….Or you’d just like to join a needlework group that does projects to serve God’s children, United Methodist Women’s group Tabitha’s
Hands is just the group for you. We meet every third Wednesday around 5:00 pm in the Christian Life Center during the Wednesday night supper. We spend our time together
eating, needle working, sharing patterns and new ideas and resources and teaching each other various needle crafts. We also do some service projects and meet in members’
homes away from our regular schedule as well as collecting canceled stamps to support disabled children. Contact Elinor Heermans if you would like more information about our group 704-840-8080.
The Helping Hands Circle at Salem is a group of women that love the Lord, care about each other and assist with church functions and missions. We meet on the third Monday morning of every month at the homes of members. Our meetings consist of a business report and a spirit filled program, followed by lunch. Our arms are always open to any woman in our church that would be interested in attending our meetings. Please contact Sue Murdock

Youth Dessert Theatre
Join us on April 20th at 7:00pm in the Christian Life Center for "Crumpled Classics". All proceeds will benefit the Youth Mission trips planned for the summer.
INDOOR YARD SALE!! May 3rd and 4th
Come support our yard sale to raise money for the Youth Summer Mission Trips. Donations of used items are needed! Bulk items or large loads can be picked up from your home. We welcome you to come and make purchases as well!
Mark your calendars for May 19th at 7:30 in the Christian Life Center for our Pentecost Party!
This party is a celebration of the birthday of the church. There will be twelve tables (one for each month) with desserts so attendees can go to their birth month table and donate the amount of money that equals their age. For example, if you are 25, you could donate 25 pennies, dimes, or dollars- your choice! All money raised will support mission activities in the church.

KidZoo- Where kids are wild about God!
July 11th-July 14th
Come experience lessons about faith as we learn about God through animals large and small. This is a unique VBS experience written just for two churches! Look for registration soon, but mark these dates so you don't miss out on some wonderful adventures.
